Tichafa Chireka has extensive experience in Finance,Business Operations and Business Strategy spanning over 21 years. Tichafa kicked off his career in 1996 in Finance holding various roles at Spar and Shearwater Adventures, Zimbabwe. In 1997 Tichafa moved to South Africa where he worked for Anglo American in the Chairman's Office and MTN Africa. In 2001 Tichafa moved to the United Kingdom where he held various senior finance positions at Nokia, Ericsson, BMW and Micro Focus. Tichafa completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Bradford. He also holds Directorship and shareholding in Reliable Parking Management Ltd, a successful UK based parking management business. Tichafa brings vast business skills, wealth and experience to Energyneering.
Versatile, astute, an eye for detail is what can describe Nimrod who has served for 14 years in different capacities namely H.J Teasdale as a Sales Consultant, Fidelity Printers and Refiners as a Quality Control Clerk, St Luke's Anglican Parish of Greendale as a Youth Leader, the Anglican Diocese of Harare as Treasurer for AYAH, and Glow Petroleum as Bulawayo's Regional Accounts and Distribution Clerk. Currently Nimrod is studying for a Diploma in Business and
Robert is a Senior Manager with over 25 years' experience in business operations, development and management. He was a trainee manager at Glynns Bolts before his appointment to Systems Manager and Administration Manager within this organization. He gained vast experience in Bolts, nuts and fasteners Industry until 2004. He left for greener pastures to the UK where he has gained international exposure working in various managerial positions in the parking industry. He brings vast management experience into the company.
Prechard Mhako has a decade of experience in leadership positions in the Real Estate, Finance, Insurance , Technology as well as Manufacturing Industries. He is the founder and CEO of Tavara Capital, executive Chairman at Washen Industries. He is also the Harare Chapter Alumni Chairperson for the Bindura Uni ver s i ty of Science Education. He is a board member at the Shift Zimbabwe. His interests are in Manufacturing and Finance. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies Honors Degree in Banking and Finance, a Certificate in Project Management as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Management
Qualifications: Electrical Projects Engineer (Electrical& Electronics), National Technical Diploma, Pretoria Technikon; Member of SAPVIA and Certified Schneider-Electric Solar Systems Integrator. With over 30 years of experience working with Eskom, Andre Anderson has established a very strong track record in the planning, construction and commissioning of major electrical infrastructure projects throughout Southern Africa. Andre provides an insight and understanding of how the industry works from an electrical connectivity viewpoint. Besides training and R&D, his role is to coordinate and manage the implementation, certification and connection from the solar arrays back to the power grid. He is currently assisting Eskom in developing the new NRS097 specification codes and is also a representative of SA (SABS) at SANS 10142 Solar PV Working Group. Andre is a qualified Electrical Projects Engineer with over 30 years' broad experience in the renewable energy fields. He has been involved with energy management projects since early 2000 and has completed extensive projects in solar and renewable energy. His experience includes design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of renewable energy systems. He has worked with major industry role players such as Redefine Properties, Arrowhead Properties, ABSA Bank, Netelek, Rural Maintenance, Mafube Local Municipality and Eskom. After working out a baseline of ABSA's electricity consumption in 2010, a target was set to reduce energy usage by more than 12.5% from 2011 to 2013. Three hundred of the 1,000 ABSA facilities around the country implemented energy management systems to ensure their buildings become more energy efficient and produce better business results. The capital expenditure on this project was just under R50-million. More than 450 smart meters were installed to control electricity usage, and energy-efficiency was performed in collaboration with Eskom's integrated demand management programme.
